There has been an unfortunate accident on the 2010 edition of the Budapest Bamako Rally, as a team rolled their vehicle just a few kilometre’s outside the town of Tantan.

The accident was caused by the failiure of one of the front suspension bolts on the vehicle which caused the vehicle to roll completely and finally come to rest on its side. Thankfully both team members were unhurt and other teams were quickly on the scene to offer assistance. Team 83 from the Hungarian TV Channel Duna TV who were following the race in order to make a documentary were forced to give up the race as the car is beyond repair.
